My name is Matt Farina and I grew up in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. When I was in high school I was part of an incredible gym. The coaches took me under their wing and helped me lose 30 pounds, taught me how to get stronger, and supported me in reaching my goal to join the Marine Corps. That gym drastically altered my life in such a positive way, that I knew I wanted to help others navigate their path of health and wellness. After completing my time in the service, I moved to Bozeman to study Kinesiology at MSU. I believe we are all capable of so much when we receive the right amount of support and that belief led me to getting certified as a personal trainer through the NSCA; as well as completing a comprehensive coaching course through OPEX.
If you’re looking to lose weight, get stronger, or just feel better in your daily life, I can help! Fitness goals can be overwhelming alone. My goal is to meet you’re where you are at and help guide you forward. I am also interested in working with any law enforcement/ first responders/ military as the demands of those jobs require different considerations. I am grateful to be a part of the Urban Fitness community and look forward to meeting everyone! When I’m not in the gym, I enjoy hunting, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
